All greywater from showers, bath/spas and laundries is collected in a small WA DoH approved polyethylene tank outside the house. The tank contains an Orange high quality stainless steel and cast iron pump which is float activated. When the float rises the greywater is pumped to a 25mm header pipe and then into a subsurface dripper system which feeds the roots of the plants.
Sub surface dripper system coverage can be increased by installing additional dripper lines, valves and solenoids.
Two separate filters and a ball valve keep the system clear of debris such as lint and hair. The system has an Australian Standard main electrical control box with an audible alarm plus an approved 100mm check valve for main sewer overflow discharge.
